Our mission is to create a world where your skin is safe, a world where the people who make your clothes are better paid. We believe that everyone has the right to feel comfortable in their own skin, and that no one should sacrifice their health for fashion. We also believe that the people who work hard to produce our garments deserve fair compensation for their work. By shopping with us, you can be sure that you are supporting a brand that is dedicated to making the world a better place. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
¡How it all started!
Since I was a little girl, my mother always looked for the best natural options for all my skin problems. And now that we're running this business together, we want to tell you our story. Being born with atopic skin, my skin and the way I care for it has been the center of attention all my life. But it wasn't until I had a vaginal infection that I started to be so affected by the synthetic materials I used in my underwear.
I was very surprised when, after doing some research, I discovered that most women's underwear is made from synthetic materials like polyester and rayon. These materials can cause irritation and increase the risk of vaginal infection.
So after talking to other women about her experiences with underwear, Maathai was born!
Soon two things became clear to me: more women needed to protect their skin with garments made from organic cotton. And also the collaborators who would make the garments should receive a fair payment.
what we do different
We only use the best materials. Our products are made to last.
We believe that by paying our suppliers directly we can have a greater social impact. For example, we can ensure that they receive a fair salary and that they can invest in their own businesses. In addition, we can help improve working conditions and support sustainable practices. By paying our providers directly, we believe we can make a real difference in their lives.
Support for mothers
We support programs to improve the quality of life of the women who make our garments.
